About Us

Ever lost something without your details and wondered how on earth you’d ever be able to get it back?

Us too.

From personal experience – and so many stories from family and friends – we know how frustrating this is (such as leaving a new iPad on a plane – not having set up Find My – and being confronted with a whole pile of iPads at Marseille airport lost property; none of them identifiable as the right one).

Equally frustrating has been finding someone’s lost item and having no clue who to return it to: car keys found in the middle of the NEC car park in Birmingham … a wallet lying on the road …

Yes, things can be handed in to a lost property department. Yet the chances of them getting back to their rightful owner are slim. In 2024-25, only 14.3% of items found on London Underground were reunited with the owners.*

We felt there had to be an easier way to make lost items returnable: iFoundIt.

iFoundIt is a family-run business that now means everyone – owners and finders – can do the right thing.

Every lost item returned is one less item replaced, one less resource wasted, and one less shipment made.
